Foothill Anime

Tsunami at SJSU
http://studiokyuu.com/tsunami/San Jose State University's anime club, they feature weekly showings of anime screenings for 3+ hours. Now in their 9th year, the club is still going strong and their love for anime hasn't waned.
AOD - San Francisco Animation Convention

Started out as a small college con in Santa Clara, but grew and moved to S.F. in 2005. Past guests of honor include Yuriko Fuchizaki ( Li Koran, Sakura Taisen) and Alex Borstein (Lois Griffin, Family Guy)
FanimeCon
http://www.fanime.comThis is one of the bigger anime conventions in the San Francisco Bay Area. Held every Memorial Day Weekend in San Jose, CA, FanimeCon has tons of things to do, from 24-hour anime programming, panels, dances, and much more!
